Happy Halloween Pack 411!!!!

Sunday 11/1: the Wolf/Bear den will be meeting at our new location, The Wilmington Lions Hall 805 River St, on Sunday from 4-5.

Monday 11/2:  Open house at the Lions Hall (805 River St) from 6:30-7:30

Monday 11/2: Webelos Den Meeting from 7-8

Saturday 11/7: Police Department open house 10am-1pm Counts as a police dept visit for tiger: safe and smart, wolf: council fire, bear: forensics, webelos and arrow of light: first responder.

New meeting place, a whole new world of opportunities.

The Webelos I and II met at the Wilmington Lions Hall last night for the first time and despite having to do battle with a few wasp, it was a great night.  We had a new Den Chief, Mik, step in and help lead the boys, and they were able to meet most of the scouts and leaders from Troop 440.  So far I am optimistic about what this change will bring in our boys scouting future.

Trunk or Treat at D'Orazio Ford

Hello Pack 411 Families.

We have been invited to host a Trunk or Treat event at D'Orazio Ford from 3-5pm on Friday October 30th.  This will be a build scouting event as well as a fun time for our current scouts.  We will be doing some fun games, passing out treats, and doing a costume contest.  If you can help with this event in any way, please let Andee Sivertson know.  779-236-3218 or andeegirl411@gmail.com (texting ok)  Also stay tuned for more details.  Thank you all for your dedication to pack 411 and your passion for scouting.  We couldn't do any of this without you.

Trunk or Treat at D'Orazio Ford

No meetings tonight

Hey pack 411.  Our show and sell on Saturday was a bust, the sky's opened up and soaked the Sivertson family, so we packed up early.  We don't have any additional show and sell opportunities set up but if you come across a good opportunity, set it up and let us know ( also be prepared to help out).  

There will be no den meetings tonight, we hope you all are having a wonderful holiday weekend.

Upcoming events

Good Morning Pack 411

I hope you have all had a great start to this school year, I know we have.  I wanted to let you know about some fundraising opportunities we have coming up and about our upcoming meetings.

8/24 - Popcorn kick off/ pack night.

8/29 - Bellettini's fund raiser 10-3.  We will be selling food out of the Bellettini's wagon and will need adults to cook and help in the wagon.  We will also need scouts to greet and thank the customers.  If you can help for any amount of time.  Please let us know.

9/5 - Popcorn show and sell at the route 66 flea market.  9-3 in front of the old theater on water street.  We will need scouts and adults to work the booth, especially during 1-3 when the Sivertson's need to leave.  If you can volunteer any time, please contact Sean at 779-240-0039 or at seansivertson@yahoo.com

If you know of any other opportunities for show and sell's please let us know or set them up.  We have 5 cases of popcorn our boys can sell and we can get more if needed.  Remember that popcorn not only supports Pack 411 but it also supports council and all the wonderful things they do.

No camping next weekend

Dear Pack 411,

Due to many conflicts, we will not be camping on 6/5, 6/6, and 6/7.  We apologize for any disappointment or inconvince this may cause.  Here are some fun activities you could do instead.

June 6, 12-3 Wilmington library summer reading program kick off.  North island park.

Relay for life - party in the park 2pm- 12 midnight Braidwood city Park

Good afternoon pack 411!!!

Tomorrow, Monday 5/18 at 6:30pm we will be meeting as a pack at the South Island park doing trash pick up.  Please bring gloves, Walmart bags or a bucket, and water to drink.  Information for Saturday's trip to midway will also be given.  See you tomorrow.
